Flipboard Culture Desk<p>"The Brutalist" has come under fire for the use of AI to "tweak" the Hungarian dialogue of Adrien Brody and Felicity Jones to make it more "authentic," which came to light in an interview with editor Dávid Jancsó for video tech publication Red Shark News. Some people online have said that this should disqualify the Oscars contender from awards consideration. “Adrien and Felicity’s performances are completely their own,” director Brady Corbet told <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://flipboard.com/@THR" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>THR</span></a></span> in a statement. "They worked for months with dialect coach Tanera Marshall to perfect their accents. AlsoPaisleyCat<p>Not sure how I missed the Saturn Award nominations, or that voting started last Wednesday, December 4th and runs through December 17th.</p><p>I’m not clear on the release period for these awards - I see nominations for Godzilla Minus One and Loki as well as very recent releases like My Old Ass. As ever, the categories have a few oddities — For All Mankind is nominated as a Fantasy television show. There are odd gaps - vfx is a film category but not for television.
