Bjorn Idle<p>I've previously tooted about my meeting with two Lace Monitors, one of which hissed at me through its nose. This is the second of the two, which I haven't posted before. It was slightly smaller than the first, perhaps just a metre or so in length, and much darker. Bjorn Idle<p>Lace Monitors are cousins of Komodo Dragons. They're mildly venomous, and have long sharp claws.</p><p>So I was a little...distracted...when I turned around after looking at a bird, and saw this &gt;1 metre beast eyeing me from the ground a few metres away.</p><p>It climbed up this trunk and hissed at me.
