"Big Fog" for #MeerMittwoch (even though it's Thursday in the German-speaking part of the world already, sorry😉)

Rugged old seastacks in dense summer fog that keeps the immediate coast nice and cool. Just half a mile further inland it's clear blue skies and much, much warmer. Big Sur, California, August 2021.

I just discovered that the new 4km section of shared bike path to The Entrance is now complete and open. 🚴‍♂️😂

I only sampled 1km, but was impressed by the frequent sprinkling of rest areas with seats and bike racks, and the bike repair station, with stand, pump, and assortment of tools on retractable security cables. ✅
